Reclaim Your Sacred Self

Your Sacred Self is the author of your life. Your personal archetypes, at their best, are here to serve your Sacred Self. At their worst, your badly behaved archetypes serve your fears instead of your Sacred Self. When disconnected from your conscious awareness, archetypes become your false selves. They can be protective, driven by survival instincts, old wounds, and ego needs. Instead of guiding you toward growth and authenticity, they try to keep you safe by keeping you small.

In this undeveloped state, your archetypes mirror the unhealed parts of you. They defend against vulnerability, control outcomes, seek validation, and repeat familiar patterns that once offered safety but now block evolution. The Inner Child clings to dependency, the Inner Victim avoids responsibility, the Inner Prostitute trades integrity for approval, and the Inner Saboteur undermines your confidence to prevent perceived failure.

At their worst, they are not your enemies but misguided protectors. They’re the parts of you that fear change more than stagnation. Their purpose in this state is to expose the areas of your life where you’re still living from fear, attachment, or illusion.

The darker side of an archetype is an opportunity for development. It reveals the exact place where love, trust, and consciousness are needed. When recognised with compassion or loving kindness, and an attitude of healing rather than judgment or condemnation, their sabotage becomes guidance, pointing the way back to your Sacred Self.
