Take a moment to pause. Let your body settle into a comfortable position, with your eyes downcast or closed if it feels right. Focusing on your heart, begin with a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely, and gently exhale through your mouth.
Take another deep breath in and as you exhale, let your body soften.
Breathe in again, deeply, and on the exhale, notice any tension left in your body. Breathing in and then on the exhale, soften the area.
Breathing in again, bring your attention inward to your heart and breathing out, let your body soften some more. With a receptive heart, let yourself experience the soft comfort of compassion, clarity and peace that is your true, Sacred Self.
Rest quietly in the softness. Let yourself sink into it for a moment. And another moment. Then one more.
Absorb the comfort. Rest in its clarity and peace. Take as long as you need.
Then take one more deep breath, and as you exhale, carry this sense of clarity and peace into your day. When you’re ready, open your eyes.
Compassion, clarity and peace are already within you—simply let each one unfold.
