Release Your Sacred Self

Perfectionists don’t need Self-improvement. They need Self-acceptance. When perfectionism becomes a lifelong pattern, it’s pointing you toward self-acceptance. Maybe it’s time to let your true, authentic Self, which is sacred, undamaged and cannot be harmed, out of the bag you’ve been dragging around since you were a child. Then it’s easier to recognise the presence of your Sacred Self as the centre of your soul, and the real leader of your life.

Your Sacred Self is the part of you that is not flawed. You are pure energy, the universal life force known as spirit, inhabiting a soul housed temporarily in a physical body.” Gail Goodwin 2026

If you’ve spent the better part of your life’s energy covering up your Sacred Self with perfectionism, then it’s time to take charge of your personal archetypes. Spending the better part of your life’s energy covering up your Sacred Self is not the most efficient investment of your personal energy. You can stop the loss and often even reverse it by supervising your personal archetypes, by honouring your healthy archetypes and collaborating with your controlling, overprotective, and distorted archetypes.

Collaborating with your undeveloped archetypes transforms them into strengths of your character. Collaborating with your archetypes transforms the unhealthy, inherent and learned patterns of behaviour that have taken over your body, invaded your thoughts, governed your beliefs, suppressed your emotions, commandeered your choices, and drained your spirit.

Get into one of these Sacred Self Energy States to collaborate with your archetypes, to transform your disempowered archetypes, and to activate the highest potential of your archetypes.

Imagine how different your world would be if you paused every now and then to enter the sanctuary of your soul, relax into the energy of your Sacred Self, and dialogue with your archetypes. The more you inhabit this state with intention, the more naturally you invite and awaken the Sacred Self in others. A lifetime of perfectionism isn’t a flaw after all. Maybe it’s a sign that your greatest challenge, and contribution to humanity’s evolution, is to finally accept the presence of your true, Sacred Self.
