Letting go is not easy to do. It’s a way of bringing something to an end, but the end of one thing can be the beginning of another. When I reach the point where I think it’s the end of something, and it feels like the end of something, I’ve learnt that it probably is the end of something. Then I know it’s time to let go and let the grieving begin.
Healing won’t happen without grieving. Grieving is the doorway to healing. I have to walk through it. Then the healing can start. Not letting go can block my creativity. It’s only upon reaching the end of one thing that I can begin to create something new.
