Desire, Action and Consistency

Desire, action, and consistency form a down-to-earth approach for achieving transformation and soul success. This is one way to do it:

Your Desire

This is your spark, passion or inspiration. It’s your dream or longing for something more. It comes from either a place of inner knowing deep with your soul or from soul-deep dissatisfaction. This is where you focus your thoughts and emotions on the feeling of already having it. Without your soul’s desire, there is no fuel to begin or to keep going.

To identify your soul’s desire, take time to pause, relax and rest in the sanctuary of your soul. Then ask your true, Sacred Self: What do I truly want?

Your Actions

Desire without movement is wishful thinking. Action turns your desire into something tangible. You don’t always need to take massive action. Small steps are all you really need to create momentum. Every action will give you feedback and greater clarity. Be conscious of taking aligned actions, not forced effort. Once you’re aligned with your desire opportunities, ideas, and nudges can start to show up. When you act on your inner wisdom and intuitive prompts, it feels natural, and even exciting.

Once you’ve identified your soul’s desire, then ask your Sacred Self: What am I willing to do to move toward what I want?

Your Consistency

A consistent approach is the secret. Change doesn’t tend to happen from one big push, but from small, repeated steps over time. Your consistency reinforces your actions because it builds habits that become second nature to you. This is what creates long-term results. Staying consistent keeps your energy and focus aligned and in the energetic zone to create what you want. The trick is to stay emotionally, mentally and physically consistent even when results are slow.

Now that you’ve identified which actions to take, ask your Sacred Self: How can I show up despite expected and unexpected obstacles and challenges?

Desire, action and consistency will deliver what you want.

Let’s say you want to become a meditation teacher. Here’s how you might approach this:

  1. Your Desire: You feel called to help others and live with more purpose. There’s a deep desire to eventually leave your 9-5 and teach meditation fulltime. Your desire sets the intention for your desire and the quality of your approach.
  2. Your Actions: You enroll in the training program, start practicing with friends and colleagues, build a simple website, join a business network group, and begin offering sessions. But instead of quitting your day job, you drop one day a week to devote to teaching meditation sessions. Rather than taking massive action, each small action is allowed to gather momentum. Each one brings your vision into motion.
  3. Your Consistency: You block time every day to learn more. You teach on your day off each week, refine your messaging, posting online regularly, and continue even when no one seems to notice at first. Rather than closing off your way forward, your consistency keeps the channel open for creating what you want.

As a result, over time, your skills grow, your confidence builds, and clients start coming your way. What began as a dream becomes reality, and not overnight, but because you honoured your soul’s desire, took action on it, and remained consistent.

Your desire sets the intention and your mindset. Your actions bring your vision into motion. Your consistency keeps the channel open for creating what you want.
