Come Home to Your Sacred Self

You don’t need to heal your Self, which by now you know is sacred. It’s not your true, Sacred Self that’s wounded. It’s your archetypes. And your ego, which likes you to think it’s the real you, but it’s your Phantom Self. Your Sacred Self is not wounded, damaged or broken. You, in your Sacred Self, are meant to help, heal and integrate your personal archetypes.

Your archetypes represent the different parts of your personality and while there are no bad archetypes, some do behave badly. But every one of your personal archetypes just wants you to get into your Sacred Self and to acknowledge the Sacred Self—or the highest potential—in each one. Then you can set about healing your archetypes, so you can integrate them.

Archetypes contain an unlimited source of knowledge, skills and experience that over time contributes to your inner wisdom. So yes, there is more than a lifetime of information within each of your personal archetypes.

Once you recognise your true, Sacred Self and you begin to function from there—instead through a wounded archetype—you can work on the lifelong process of deconstructing each one. And as you do, just watch them one at a time, automatically integrate into your Sacred Self.

I say it’s automatic because it appears that way but actually, deconstructing your archetypes is an alchemical process. In the ancient tradition of alchemy, when elements in opposition are brought together and unified, transformation begins. Positive and negative forces coalesce because of a third, catalytic agent. That catalyst is your spirit.

It’s about taking just one step into your Sacred Self. Then you can lead from within the sanctuary of your Sacred Self, so your broken-down archetypes are healed, and as a result integrated into your true, Sacred Self

Your personal archetypes just want you to get into your Sacred Self, and to acknowledge their Sacred Self, or highest potential. Then you can begin to heal your archetypes, so you can integrate them.
Come back to the real version of you: Your Sacred Self.

Your Sacred Self is a state of being. It’s the undamaged part of you. It’s an experience of compassion, kindness, non-judgement, benevolence, tenderness, courage, creativity, connection. You get the idea. You can choose to enter any one of these states at any time. Choose your state and then enter it. Enter through your heart.

But.

Which moment will you choose?

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Let it fill your lungs, and as you exhale let it begin to settle your mind. Now, bring your awareness to your heart. Feel its steady rhythm, a gentle reminder of life flowing through you.

Feel the soft, warm light glowing within your heart. Breathing gently, and with a sense of softening into gentle kindness, let this light expand into compassion, limitless and unconditional.

With each inhale, imagine this light expanding, filling your chest. With each exhale, let it spread further, into your arms, your hands, your feet and your entire body.

Now, ask yourself: What do you need right now? Is it compassion, kindness, curiosity, clarity, or any other uplifting, fulfilling experience? Choose one and with an open heart, offer this warming experience to yourself as you step into the radiant light of your Sacred Self

Feel the ease and connection this brings. Rest here for a few moments, allowing compassion to guide your breath and your being.

When you’re ready, gently open your eyes as you carry this sense of compassion with you.

Rather than being led by wounded or broken archetypes, you can learn to love—and lead—all of your personal archetypes when you’re in the energy of your Sacred Self
