Is it Time for a Self-Authored Life?

You have the power to change your stories. You are the author. This is your Life.

You are not your archetypes. You have archetypes. Thirty-six of them. You are not the roles you believe you’ve been “assigned”, the mistakes you’ve made, or the archetypal stories others tell about you. At any moment, you can put your spirit into the driver’s seat of your soul, into the energy of your Sacred Self, and transform your archetypes.

Your personal archetypes are a powerful tool for transformation. They’re not rigid roles. They’re living, dynamic patterns of thinking, feeling, choosing, deciding, motivating and acting. When you’re in the energy of your Sacred Self, you can tap into the highest potential of an archetype. It then becomes a guide you can call on to reshape your inner narrative and your external world.

It’s time to self-author your personal archetypes.

If you’ve been stuck in the pattern of the Victim archetype, constantly reliving the pain of the past, you can invite the highest potential of the Victim, the part of you that owns your power, speaks your truth, and moves forward with courage to shift your perception of the circumstances. If the Saboteur archetype has been down on you, then awaken the highest potential of this archetype, the part of you who can see possibilities and strategies, even through the ruins. The immature Child archetype in you may still yearn for security, but the mature Child within you knows how to take personal responsibility. If you’re stuck in a pattern that no longer serves you, then yes, it’s time to self-author your personal archetypes.

Why not collaborate with your archetypes instead of trying to work around them, or against them? It costs you a lot more physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy to push against your archetypes, or to constantly work around them, than it does to simply step into your Sacred Self and collaborate with them.

You are author of your life, and any moment of every day you can revise the script. That means your past doesn’t define your future. The labels you’ve carried, the disempowered Victim, the overly sensitive Child, the not enough Pleaser, a failure as a Perfectionist, none of these are your fate. The highest potential of your personal archetypes will work with you, in your Sacred Self, as you explore the many facets of your character and step into a more empowering way of living.

This is not about pretending or bypassing your problems. Far from it. You will learn about the good, bad and ugly parts of your archetypes, and at the same time, you will remember your Sacred Self and reclaim your life by Self-Authoring your personal archetypes. When you decide to take charge and change the stories that no longer serve you, then your outer world begins to shift. It’s a sacred act. One of co-creation that’s headed in the right direction for you.
