The Seeker Archetype

The Seeker archetype represents the quest for knowledge, self-discovery, and new experiences. The Seeker archetype will take you on physical and metaphorical journeys to explore and expand your horizons. There are strengths and weaknesses associated with every archetype.

Journal with this archetype to determine if the Seeker is one of your personal archetypes. Or one you can spot in others.

On one hand, the Seeker archetype’s urge to explore all options can lead to indecision and a lack of follow through. Those with the Seeker archetype may struggle with mundane or repetitive tasks, leading to procrastination or errors in routine responsibilities. Constantly seeking new experiences, the Seeker archetype might abandon successful ventures or stable situations prematurely, like leaving a well-established business to start another, uncertain one.

On the other hand, with the Seeker as one of your archetypes, you may be curious, adaptable, adventurous and open-minded. You will value a learning mindset and authenticity, urging you to search for your true self. You may be restless, with a sense of independence that can lead to feeling isolated as you prioritise your quests over maintaining close friendships and family ties.

The challenge with every archetype is to find the sweet spot of balance, somewhere in between the extremes represented by both hands outlined above.
