Use Your Divine Eyes

A negative bias stops us from perceiving the good in ourselves and others. Negative bias is the tendency to focus more on negative experiences or information than positive ones. Working with Body Soul Spirit Archetypes has shown me that there is a sacred potential in everyone, that people at their core, are inherently good, and that there is a higher, undamaged Self, which is sacred, in everyone.

Yes, it can be hard to perceive this Sacred Self in others when they’re functioning outside the energy of their Sacred Self. People often describe this experience as feeling “outside myself,” or “beside myself,” or they experience a sense of dissociation from their body1. They’re stuck in destructive or unhealthy archetypal patterns. In other words, their archetypes behave badly.

Your true, authentic Self, which is sacred, is at the core of your soul around which (the highest potential of) your personal archetypes are grouped.

If a negative bias is our default position, it affects self-perception by magnifying personal flaws, mistakes, or failures. At the same time, it minimises strengths and achievements. As a result, we develop (or generate in others) low self-esteem, increased self-criticism, and a distorted self-image. Even small setbacks can feel overwhelming because they reinforce a belief that we’re not good enough or capable. Over time, this pattern can affect our ability to learn and grow. It prevents us from taking risks. It prevents us from recognising our true potential. It prevents us from connecting with the Sacred Self in everyone.

If you really want to empower yourself and others, then get into in the energy of your Sacred Self and function from there. Photo by Akshar Daveud83cudf3b on Pexels.com
You can empower yourself and others from within the energy of your Sacred Self.

You are not your personal archetypes. You have archetypes. There are no bad archetypes. But some behave badly if they’re forced to wait for too long for you to heal them. They will do anything to get your attention. They will break into your soul space, cloud your thinking, rattle your emotions, and even take up residence in your body. You know one or more of your personal archetypes is acting out in your body when you feel tension, tightness, pinching, discomfort or pain. All because your personal archetypes need you to:

  1. Get into in the energy of your Sacred Self, then
  2. collaborate with each archetype by
  3. recognising, consulting, nurturing and healing them so
  4. you can integrate their wisdom into your Sacred Self.

When your archetypes are ignored, undeveloped or out of balance, they behave like little demons. When your archetypes are healthy and balanced, they behave like your divine attendant spirits. They gather around the perimeter of the sanctuary of your soul waiting to assist you.

While consciously employing a negative bias can be useful for applied critical thinking skills, if it’s become a default position, then personal transformation will always be a struggle, instead of a given. If your soul’s purpose is to serve others in your own way, and you want to be more effective, then get into the energy of your Sacred Self so you can do it through the lens of your divine eyes.
