At our core, we are all inherently pure, and Sacred. When we experience any one of the following – confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity, and connectedness – then we are experiencing our authentic, Sacred Self. When we express those emotions, we are expressing the true nature of our authentic, Sacred Self.
Pause here, now. Breathe deeply in and out. Feel the breath, the sensation of fresh, gentle life flowing through your nose and filling your chest.
Breathe out and feel the sensation of softening throughout your body. And again. Breathe in, filling your chest with life. Breathe out, letting go, letting go, letting go. And once more, breathing in, let this gentle life force fill your whole body, expanding into your torso, to the top of your head, through your shoulders, arms and legs.
Exhale and let your breathing return to its natural rhythm. Rest for a moment, then another, and one more, going deep in the sanctuary of your Sacred Self.
You’ve learnt a lot from life. Your Sacred Self has accumulated knowledge, skills and experience throughout the whole of your life. You can trust this wisdom, the wisdom of your Sacred Self. When you rest in the sanctuary of your Sacred Self, you can access this wisdom.
Let it guide you as you move forward with your day. Ask, what is my soul’s purpose today?
Is it to love? Is to serve? Is it to heal?
How will you do that from a place of authenticity?
Will you do it with confidence? Or maybe calmness? Or courage? Or creativity? Or clarity? Or curiosity? Or connectedness? Or compassion?
Allow the questions to settle in your heart like a small pebble dropping gently into still water. Feel the ripples of each inquiry spreading gently through your mind and soul. Trust the answers you receive.
And when you’re ready, take one more deep breath, and as you exhale, open your eyes. Let your soul’s purpose carry you into your day.
